I experienced my first Russell, Iowa Fall Festival this year, it was fun Mark and I drove his father's antique John Deere tractor in the parade . Marks brother Wes and his wife Erin drove the other antique John Deere Tractor.
BRRRRR it was cold out
Russell is so small the parade goes through town twice, Mark's parents had us set up with lots of candy to give out, but not all of it made it mark and i picked out a few pieces for ourselves.
After the parade all the kids got together to participate in the kids tractor pull.
We even had a few winners! but more important it was a fun day with the family.
